Termoli: A Sea of Stories

A place-branding concept for Termoli, Italy; created to connect its heritage, gastronomy, community and cultural life through a flexible storytelling system.

Brief

The brief asked for a city identity that could promote Termoli through its cultural heritage, gastronomy, arts and local life. The challenge was to create a destination brand that felt rooted in place, but flexible enough to speak across different audiences, touchpoints and stories.


Creative role

I developed the concept, visual identity and application system around the idea of “A sea of stories.” The identity uses Termoli’s relationship with the Adriatic as a narrative thread, expanding into sub-themes such as flavours, heritage, culture and community.


Outcome

The project resulted in a full place-branding system, including logo, icon, pattern system, colour palette, typography, signage, social templates, visitor touchpoints, merchandise and cultural activation ideas.
